Kathy Eckhart has joined Danvers, Mass.-based Mortgage Network Inc., one of the largest independent mortgage lenders in the eastern U.S., as a senior loan officer in the company's Brentwood, Tenn., branch.
Eckhart has more than five years of mortgage banking experience, which she will bring to this position as she serves borrwers and homeowners throughout the Middle Tennessee area. Most recently, she served as a loan originator for Mortgage Investors Group.
Eckhart says that the Nashville, Tenn., housing market is one of the strongest in the country: ‘Median home prices are below the national average, rates are low, and the local economy is strong – so it's a great time for first-time and move-up buyers. Sales have been very strong lately, and we expect that to continue.’
