Carlton Group has expanded its advisory, principal and merchant banking business to Chicago. ‘We have always done a tremendous amount of business in the Midwest and Chicago area, and the opening of the Chicago office solidifies our commitment to our clients located nationwide,’ says Howard L. Michaels, chairman of Carlton.
The company has hired industry veteran John Hofmann to manage and head its Chicago office. Hofmann was previously the co-head of Nomura Credit & Capital's Midwest commercial real estate lending operations. Hofmann will be intricately involved in expanding Carlton's Midwest presence in advisory, lending and loan sales services.
