Valuation provider eMortgage Logic (EML) has released a new proprietary mapping tool that allows brokers to draw custom polygon shapes to accurately outline a subject property's specific neighborhood.
According to the company, the added functionality increases transparency into brokers' comparable selections and helps to enhance internal and external quality analyses.
"We created this functionality because our clients want to know the boundaries and streets of the subject's neighborhood," says Hilary Waters, project manager. "This feature will not only provide a visual map identifying the subject's neighborhood, but will also show the neighborhood in relation to the comparables used in the property valuation."
