Fannie’s Single-Family Serious Delinquency Rate Hits 4.17%

Fannie Mae's book of business grew at a compound annualized rate of 3.7% in August and 5.8% year-to-date, the company says in its monthly volume summary.

The conventional single-family serious delinquency rate rose 23 basis points (bps) in July to 4.17%, and the multifamily serious delinquency rate rose 5 bps to 0.56% in July, which is the latest data available.

The Gross Mortgage Portfolio's compound annualized growth rate remained unchanged from July.
