Austin, Texas-based Field Asset Services (FAS) has launched Collateral Command, which the company describes as an integrated solution for property management services and support. The Collateral Command suite eliminates the need for servicers to use an array of vendors performing separate servicing activities, FAS says.
Collateral Command services include property preservation, maintenance and repair, as well as code compliance. The company also includes REoMODELING, FAS' end-to-end property rehab solution.
In conjunction with the release, FAS has additionally made available as part of Collateral Command its new Utilities Management Service, which provides banks with a single point of contact to oversee management of the utility process. FAS says its relationships with utility companies and agencies enables it to manage multiple utility services at one time, aggregate billing in high-volume locations and eliminate out-of-pocket advances by agents and attorneys.
"In preparation for launching the FAS Utility Management Service, we've been testing the offering with some of our customers over the past year,’ explains Jim Pike, the company's vice president of utilities. ‘We're happy to report that during the testing phase, we were able to successfully manage utilities for more than 76,000 properties, handle more than 325,000 bills, and manage 165,000 activations and 140,000 deactivations.’
