FHFA Releases 2011 Performance Report

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) has released its performance and accountability report, which details the agency's performance for fiscal-year 2011.

According to a press statement, the Government Accountability Office has given the FHFA's annual financial statements a clean audit opinion for the third consecutive year.

The report provides information on several actions taken by the FHFA this year, including the agency's restructured examination program that establishes examiners in charge at each enterprise, enhances examiner training, and develops consistent examination standards for all of the regulated entities, according to the FHFA.
