Announces Scholarship Program, a Boca Raton, Fla.-based database of diverse investment properties and distressed real estate, is hosting a scholarship program for undergraduate college students.

Eligible students can qualify for scholarship funds in an essay contest. This year's essay competition is based on the following topic: ‘You have acquired $150,000 in cash to be used specifically for a distressed real estate purchase. Outline a detailed strategy that ensures the maximum return on investment, whether it is in terms of financial profit or personal satisfaction … or both.’

The competition rewards a $5,000 grand prize and four $1,000 runner-up grants. All scholarship winners will have their essays featured on's scholarship page.

The deadline for entries is Dec. 1, and the full competition rules are online.
