Freddie Mac has priced its new 1.375% $4 billion three-year USD Reference Notes security due Jan. 9, 2013.
The issue, CUSIP number 3137EACG2, was priced at 99.903 to yield 1.407%, or 31 basis points more than three-year U.S. Treasury notes.
The new three-year Reference Notes security was offered via a syndicate of dealers headed by Barclays Capital Inc., Banc of America Securities LLC and JPMorgan Chase. An application was made to list the issue on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
Including this offer, Freddie Mac has issued $56 billion of Reference Notes securities during 2009 and has approximately $257 billion in Reference Notes and Reference Bonds securities outstanding.
