The heads of the government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) and the federal agencies responsible for shaping the housing finance market will be among the guest speakers at this year's Mortgage Bankers Association's Annual Convention and Expo, which will be held Oct. 24-27 in Atlanta.
Among the panelists scheduled to address the convention are Edward J. DeMarco, acting director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency; Michael J. Williams, president and CEO of Fannie Mae; Charles E. Haldeman Jr., CEO of Freddie Mac; Theodore Tozer, president of Ginnie Mae; Jill Spencer, interim president and CEO of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta; and David H. Stevens, commissioner of the Federal Housing Administration and assistant secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Session topics for the convention will include ‘The Future of the Independent Mortgage Banker,’ ‘The Future of House Price Forecasting,’ ‘eSignature Technology’ and ‘Foreclosure Mediation – Issues and Solutions.’
