The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) has named Richard J. Hill associate vice president of industry technology. In this role, Hill is responsible for the MBA's industry technology efforts, including supporting the MBA's oversight of its subsidiary, the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization Inc., as well as the technology content of MBA conferences.
Hill will also work directly with the MBA's commercial and residential technology committees and the research and government affairs staff on technology and data-quality issues impacting the real estate finance industry.
Before joining the MBA, Hill was the managing director of iNovate Solutions, a Herndon, Va.-based business and technology consulting firm. He also was director of data strategy at Fannie Mae from 1989 to 2009.
