Federal Housing Administration (FHA) Commissioner David H. Stevens will headline an upcoming Web cast hosted by the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU).
Credit union representatives tuning into the Web cast will be able to ask Stevens questions about recent changes at the FHA and their impact on credit unions, notes NAFCU President Fred Becker. Stevens is scheduled to discuss the agency's policies and programs, capital reserves, as well as foreclosure prevention and consumer protection initiatives. New Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act requirements, which take effect Jan. 1, 2010, will also be addressed.
Becker will moderate the Web cast, which takes place Nov. 12 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. EST.
NAFCU members and nonmembers can call (800) 344-5580 to register or visit www.nafcu.org/webcasts for more information. The early-bird registration deadline is Nov. 5.
