New Community Development VP At Philadelphia Fed

New Community Development VP At Philadelphia Fed The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia has announced the appointment of Theresa Y. Singleton to vice president and community affairs officer in the bank's community development studies and education department.

Singleton was previously director of research and information at the Washington, D.C.-based Housing Assistance Council, a national nonprofit intermediary organization that provides ongoing technical, lending and research support to rural communities. She is also the co-author of the research papers ‘Very Low-Income Loan Obligations within USDA's Section 502 Direct Loan Homeownership Program’ (2010) and ‘Subprime and Predatory Lending in Rural America: Mortgage Lending Practices that Can Trap Low-Income Rural People’ (2006).
