Northfield Bank has selected Mount Laurel, N.J.-based PHH Mortgage, a subsidiary of PHH Corp., as a strategic partner for its mortgage loan origination and servicing businesses.

Northfield Bank operates 18 full-service banking offices in Staten Island, N.Y.; Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Middlesex and Union counties, N.J.
