public National Title Holding Co. has joined with Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund Inc. to form a joint underwriting venture, Attorneys' Title Fund Services LLC (ATFS). The terms of the agreement provide that Old Republic's title insurance subsidiary, Old Republic National Title Insurance Co., will offer title insurance coverage to Attorneys' Title's existing agency network, while ATFS will act as Old Republic's managing title agent for those agents. Under the arrangement, ATFS will provide the Attorneys' Title network of 6,000 real estate attorney members underwriting, claims processing, and educational and property information services. For the latest five-year period, the annual agency premium production for Attorneys' Title has averaged approximately $385 million.
