REOMAC, the Sacramento, Calif.-based nonprofit trade association for the default servicing industry, has announced a new programming initiative with the hosting of its first virtual summit on Oct. 17.
REOMAC's two-hour, Web-based ‘In the Know’ global developments event will cover the latest industry statistics and data, and will feature information on the controversial eminent domain strategy on foreclosed homes, along with information on Fannie Mae bulk home sales, Federal Reserve mortgage purchases and the impact of resales and foreclosures on new home construction. The event will also discuss how mortgage banking might be impacted if Mitt Romney is elected president.
Presenters at the event will include Rep. Loretta Sanchez, D.-Calif.; Dr. Svenja Gudell, senior economist at Zillow; and Herb Blecher, senior vice president of the applied analytics division of Lender Processing Services.
There is no cost to attend this special virtual event, which will begin at 10 a.m. PDT. More information and registration forms are available online.
