Waltham, Mass.-based home builder Blu Homes has announced that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has joined the company's board of advisors.
Kennedy is a nationally prominent environmentalist and attorney. He is the chief prosecuting attorney for the Hudson Riverkeeper, president of Waterkeeper Alliance, senior attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council and a clinical professor and supervising attorney at Pace University School of Law's Environmental Litigation Clinic. He is also a venture partner in and senior advisor to VantagePoint Capital Partners, a leading global investor in energy innovation and efficiency.
‘There could be no greater endorsement from the environmental community than having Bobby join Blu Homes in this capacity,’ says Bill Haney, President of Blu Homes, which designs and builds precision-built, steel frame, green homes across North America. ‘Bobby's involvement in the company is a wonderful way to have our commitment to green building validated publicly. We are honored to welcome an environmentalist of his caliber and conviction as an advisor.’
