Financial Industry Computer Systems Inc. (FICS) says that Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Truliant Federal Credit Union (FCU) has purchased its residential loan origination system LOS, Loan Producer. Truliant FCU, one of the largest credit unions in North Carolina, selected FICS' solution to replace an existing mortgage loan origination system.
According to FICS, Truliant realized that in order to continue to successfully maintain and grow its mortgage department, it required a system that could handle a growing portfolio of mortgage loans, integrate technologies, streamline workflow processes and offer enhanced functionality to its users in all member financial centers and, ultimately, provide increased member service.
The credit union also plans to implement FICS' residential loan servicing system – Mortgage Servicer – as well as eStatus, an online mortgage information tool for borrowers, later in the year. Both the Loan Producer and Mortgage Servicer systems include Radstar, which is designed to give Truliant the tools necessary to move towards a paperless mortgage operation.
