Bob Dougherty has joined the team at CalyxSoftware, a provider of mortgage software solutions for banks, credit unions, mortgage bankers, and wholesale and correspondent lenders and brokers, as vice president of business development.
In this position, Dougherty will be responsible for developing CalyxSoftware’s overall partner strategy, building relationships with mortgage industry influencers and vendors, and increasing interface usage and revenues. He will report to Dennis Boggs, the company’s executive vice president.
With more than 20 years of operational and business development experience in the mortgage industry, Dougherty most recently served as vice president of mortgage operations at Merchants Bank, in Winona, Minn., where he led operation and secondary marketing functions for its mortgage banking division.
Prior to Merchants, Dougherty served as executive vice president at Boom Brother Commercial Capital LLC, an intermediary consulting firm facilitating commercial financing for commercial/multifamily buildings with specialization in difficult-to-fund loans.
