Parkside Lending, a national wholesale and correspondent lender, is now offering Veterans Affairs (VA) home loan programs.
“We’re excited that we can now partner with mortgage professionals to help eligible service men and women, veterans, and their families become homeowners,” says Matt Ostrander, CEO at Parkside Lending, in a release. “Our program takes a commonsense approach to underwriting whereby we review each veteran’s individual situation while making sensible loans.”
The company says it has put together a seasoned team of VA underwriters that know how to navigate nuances of underwriting VA loans.
Helping head up this new initiative is Linda Jacopetti, who will serve as head of underwriting and government operations.
As per the release, Jacopetti has a proven track record of building VA programs from the ground up. She will design Parkside’s new VA program.
Marcy Neves will serve as government underwriting manager. She is the most-tenured underwriter in the VA system and leads Parkside’s VA underwriting team.
