ALFN Hosts June 13 Webinar On Servicer Oversight

ALFN Hosts June 13 Webinar On Servicer Oversight St. Louis-based American Legal & Financial Network (ALFN) is hosting a free webinar on June 13 entitled ‘Preparing for Servicer Oversight.’

The webinar will focus on the legal issues affecting foreclosure, bankruptcy, loan modifications, loss mitigation, fair debt and the Truth in Lending Act. Guest speakers include Amy Brachio, partner in the advisory services group at Ernst & Young LLP, and Paul Nagai, executive director at Ernst & Young LLP.

‘The new regulatory environment has placed significant responsibilities on servicers to monitor and manage the law firms providing foreclosure and bankruptcy-related services, and has dramatically increased the level of due diligence which must be supported by the participating law firms,’ says ALFN. ‘As oversight programs mature, several trends are emerging. Understanding the new legal landscape is a critical survival skill.’

The webinar will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., EDT. Registration is available online.
