Due diligence and consulting firm American Mortgage Consultants (AMC) has acquired due diligence and consulting firm JCIII & Associates.
Terms of the deal were not specified.
The combined firm will operate as AMC. As a result of the merger, AMC is now the largest transactional due diligence firm in the residential mortgage space, the company claims in a press release.
“We are excited to bring JCIII’s highly respected management and due diligence professionals to AMC’s industry leading team,” says Michael Franco, CEO of AMC, in the release. “The combined entity is uniquely situated to deliver best-in-class due diligence services to a broad spectrum of the residential mortgage market.”
“The acquisition brings to AMC additional seasoned due diligence talent, including some of the industry’s most respected leaders in mortgage solutions, and expanded capacity to serve clients,” Franco adds.
JCIII employees will continue to work from the company’s existing Tampa, Fla., offices, which will serve as AMC’s primary production office. AMC’s corporate headquarters will remain in New York City, and AMC will also retain its presence in Denver.
