BillMatrix Corp., a bill payment service acquired by Fiserv Inc. in 2005, has formally changed its name to Fiserv. The change of the name and brand unifies all Fiserv business units with a new market approach and brand identity, the company says.
BillMatrix, with 250 employees at offices in Dallas and Irving, Texas, provides outsourced alternatives to traditional payment methods using automated technologies.
"BillMatrix has a long history of providing its clients with a comprehensive approach to on-demand biller payment services, from the consumer market to dedicated call centers and everything in between," says Robert E. Wilson, general manager of electronic payment services with Fiserv. "We are proud of our history of client satisfaction and will take that forward under the name and brand of Fiserv."
