Blue Sage Solutions has upgraded its LION Consumer Point of Sale (POS) platform with new features that improve user experience, accessibility, and system performance.
The updated platform streamlines the mortgage process for both lenders and applicants, the mortgage software firm says in a release.
Borrowers will now benefit from a more intuitive interface, including a new welcome message upon login, interactive guided tours, improved consent flows, AI-driven knowledge-base support, and the ability to shop for mortgage insurance directly within the platform.
These features provide real-time transparency into their loan progress and streamline the overall application. Additionally, new feedback tools enable applicants to share insights throughout the process, ensuring ongoing platform optimization.
The upgrade is also built using an enhanced modern tech stack, including the latest Angular and Google Firebase platforms, to deliver faster load times, enhanced security, and increased stability. Lenders now have greater control over platform configurations, allowing them to easily administer features, adjust settings, and customize the user experience to align with their specific business goals.
Among the new enhancements is loan officer co-browse and application support. This feature allows LOs to view their leads, monitor application progress, see which items are missing, and, with a single click, open the borrower’s application to complete data entry and submit on their behalf. It not only streamlines the lending process but also ensures borrowers receive hands-on support at critical steps. The feature will also allow loan officers to start new applications, input initial borrower information, and then seamlessly hand off the file for the borrower to complete and submit.
Enhanced consent agreement flows and configurable password security settings further strengthen data protection, while runtime diagnostics provide real-time performance monitoring to quickly resolve potential issues.
