California Members Title Insurance Co., a newly launched company that serves credit unions, mortgage lenders and institutional lenders throughout California, has hired title insurance veterans Linda Blood and Mary MacGregor to its staff.
According to the company, Blood will serve as chief operating officer and MacGregor will serve as senior vice president of escrow operations.
Blood, who has four decades of experience, will now lead the company's entire title operations. Previously, she co-founded American Coast Title and operated it for 25 years. MacGregor has 30 years of escrow experience, and she spent several of those years working with Blood at American Coast Title.
Frank Berriz, president of California Members Title Insurance and a 40-year industry veteran himself, worked with both Blood and MacGregor extensively in the past, as he was the other co-founder of American Coast Title.
