Camden National Bank is the latest mortgage lender to hop on the e-mortgage train.
The Camden, Maine-based company recently launched a new online mortgage portal, dubbed MortgageTouch, that automates the application and pre-approval process. Consumers can fill out an application and find out if they are pre-approved in about 15 minutes, it says in a release.
The new technology enhances the personalized service that Camden National Bank’s experienced mortgage specialists currently provide to customers. The bank stresses that its mortgage lending team stands ready to assist borrowers, whether they are a first-time home buyer or a seasoned homeowner looking to refinance.
“We are always looking for ways to improve the customer experience,” says Greg Dufour, president and CEO of Camden National Bank. “With our new MortgageTouch, the experience is simplified through secure technology that’s user-friendly and coupled with the expertise and personalized service of our knowledgeable mortgage specialists.”
Borrowers can access the portal via their mobile devices. Once they’ve created a profile, they can securely sync bank statements, tax returns, payroll information and other data required for the application process.
Camden National Bank is a subsidiary of Camden National Corp., the largest publicly traded bank holding company in northern New England, with $3.9 billion in assets and nearly 650 employees.
