The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) is expecting to provide up to $165 million in financial assistance and technical assistance during fiscal year 2013 to the CDFI Program and the Native American CDFI Assistance (NACA) Program.
The CFDI Fund plans to divide the funding into $130 million for CDFI Program awards, $12 million for NACA Program awards, and $23 million for the Healthy Food Financing Initiative operated by eligible CDFIs. Funding is subject to congressional appropriations.
Financial institutions interested in receiving funds must submit their applications through the grants.gov website by Feb. 28.
