Brad Wayman has been promoted to Head of U.S. Mortgage at Citi.
Wayman has served in this role on an interim basis since December. He has been with Citi since 2003, most recently serving as head of U.S. mortgage sales, leading distributed retail sales, direct to consumer sales, strategic market business development, community reinvestment strategy and sales support.
In his new role, Wayman will continue to drive a unified strategy across Citi’s U.S. retail bank, with a focus on delivering best-in-class client experiences.
“Throughout Brad’s career, he has shown a great skill for connecting with our clients and seeing a mortgage not just as a financial transaction, but as the foundation for a lifetime relationship,” says David Chubak, head of U.S. retail banking, in a release. “As he has grown in his role, he has cultivated strategic partnerships across Citi to benefit our clients and developed digital lending strategies to take us into the future.”
Prior to Citi, Wayman worked in real estate and served in both the White House and Department of Justice during the early 2000s.
