Pat Carney has joined San Diego-based ClosingCorp, a provider of residential real estate closing cost data and technology, as executive program manager in the title channel.
Reporting directly to Dan Mugge, ClosingCorp's senior vice president and chief product officer, Carney will direct vital integration efforts and help to develop the company's strategic product road map, specifically concerning ordering, service provider risk management and overall market adoption.
With over 20 years of real estate and title insurance experience, Carney most recently served as chief operations officer and chief strategy officer at reQuire, a Web-based lien release and tracking reporting service.
‘Over the past 20 years, Pat's been an integral part of all facets of the real estate ecosystem – from being a Realtor, to starting and running title agencies, to being a
consultant for builders, developers, mortgage brokers, as well as title and escrow companies,’ says Mugge. ‘His experience will help us develop industry-leading solutions to connect, vet and monitor service providers with confidence nationwide.’
