Laurie Saunders has joined CoesterVMS, a Rockville, Md.-based nationwide appraisal management company (AMC), as director of compliance in order to develop the firm's compliance department and to manage processes.
In this role, Saunders will oversee all regulatory compliance functions for the company, ensuring that all CoesterVMS services and products are compliant with federal and state regulations. Further, she will manage licensing requirements, monitor regulatory updates and implement necessary controls to adhere to any applicable guidelines.
With nearly 30 years of appraising and compliance experience, Saunders previously served as chief appraiser and compliance manager for several national AMCs.
