Courtney Dodd, head of marketing for mortgage point-of-sale software provider Floify, has been appointed to the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) associate advisory council.

The MBA’s associate advisory council plays a unique role in elevating the perspectives of associate members — tech providers, service partners, and innovators — within the broader MBA community.

Dodd’s appointment not only reflects her own deep experience in mortgage fintech but also signals Floify’s growing influence as the industry leans into digital transformation.

Since joining Floify in 2023, Dodd has led a major rebrand, launched new editions of Floify’s POS platform, and most recently introduced Dynamic AI, a no-code feature that helps lenders and brokers customize borrower applications.

Her background includes leadership roles at SimpleNexus, Ellie Mae, Calyx Software, and PrimeLending, giving her a 360-degree view of how technology and marketing intersect in mortgage.

“Courtney’s appointment to MBA’s Associate Advisory Council underscores both her leadership in the mortgage fintech space and her ability to bring innovative ideas to the table,” says Joshua Steffan, senior vice president and group general manager at Porch Group and interim president and general manager, Floify, in a release. “Her perspective and experience will be an asset not just to Floify, but to the entire mortgage community as she helps advance the MBA’s mission.”
