CWCapital Investments (CWCI), a full-service commercial real estate investment management company, is launching a new risk management group and has hired former Moody's executive Tad Philipp as managing director of the group.
The risk management services platform, called CW Risk Management Solutions, will enable CWCI to deliver its proprietary analytics and underwriting to portfolio lenders, securities investors and other clients. Initial offerings will include valuation, portfolio optimization and credit risk management services – all highly critical skill sets in today's turbulent real estate market and economic environment, the company says.
The group will also draw upon Maximus Advisors, CWCI's economic and real estate research consulting unit.
