Dart Appraisal, an independently owned, nationwide appraisal management company (AMC), has hired a new vendor manager and promoted six team members in management roles, according to an announcement made by Michael Dresden, Dart Appraisal's executive vice president.
Derek Jerome, a licensed Realtor, has joined the AMC as a vendor manager to identify and segment appraisers based on competence and performance while also developing appraisers through strategic coaching. Previously, Jerome served as a technical recruiter for Kforce Inc.
Tracey Volltrauer has been promoted internally to director of compliance, where she will focus on the AMC's compliance strategy and efforts for both state and federal regulations. She joined Dart Appraisal as vendor coordinator in 2010 and became the company's first vendor manager in 2012.
Tim Laden, a certified appraiser with over 25 years of industry experience, has been promoted to chief appraiser. He will continue his efforts in appraiser coaching and counseling while providing escalation support for the AMC's employees and customers. He previously served as the company's first quality assurance manager.
Tom Moser has been promoted to director of quality control, where he will direct all of the company's quality initiatives, systems and programs, and personnel. Previously, Moser served the company as a quality control manager.
Rachel Lasater has been promoted to operations manager, where she will be responsible for vendor management, appraiser engagement, appraisal status and overall production management. Lasater previously was a client service manager.
Megan Schaefer has been promoted to service-level manager, where she will oversee the appraiser engagement and appraisal status teams. She previously served the company as an appraiser liaison.
Dave Mapley, a certified residential appraiser, has been promoted to appraisal review team leader, where he will ensure that the AMC's commitment to quality control is fulfilled.
