Dexma Inc., a provider of Web-based mortgage origination and processing solutions, has introduced Dexma Imagility, which the company says is the first and only paperless solution for mortgage document management that supports the entire mortgage lifecycle for correspondent and wholesale channels.
The scalable, Web-based technology is available across the entire Dexma product platform and will help multi-channel lenders increase loan volume and market share by streamlining the document management process for their customer channel partners, Dexma says. The technology is currently being implemented by Dexma at several large banks, including two top-10 U.S. mortgage lenders, the company adds.
"Managing documents is still a huge drag on profitability for most lenders," says Dexma CEO Steve Mase. "And since lenders can no longer differentiate themselves on product or price, they are competing largely on service. Dexma Imagility will help lenders implement a fast, efficient, synchronized approach to loan document management that results in improved customer service as well as in-house efficiencies measured in cost-per-loan and loans-per-FTE."
