Docutech is partnering with Simplifile to streamline the mortgage process.
Specifically, Docutech has integrated its Solex e-closing solution with Simplifile’s recordation services, creating what the companies call a seamless e-closing solution for agents, lenders and borrowers.
This will enable mortgage transactions to be as digital as possible, down to a document and jurisdiction level, while maintaining a standardized process on every loan, the companies say in a release.
Through this integration, borrowers will be able to preview their closing packages and, optionally, e-sign any documents that don’t require notarization prior to closing.
From there, the closing agent and borrower can complete the closing electronically, with full e-notarization capabilities.
Once the closing is complete, closing agents can electronically submit documents to counties for recording.
The recorded documents and data along with other trailing documents will then be electronically returned to the lender.
