Newark, N.J.-based Prudential Mortgage Capital Co. is promoting David Durning from senior managing director and head of originations to president. He will replace David Twardock, who has been president since 1999 and is retiring in April.
Durning joined Prudential in 1988 as an investment analyst and assumed varied roles through the company's real estate and mortgage investment units. Prior to joining Prudential, he was a lending officer for Chemical Bank, and a corporate finance associate for Shearson Lehman.
Durning is a member of the Prudential Investment Management Investment Committee and serves on the executive board of the National Multifamily Housing Council. He is also a former vice chairman of the Fannie Mae DUS Advisory Council and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Association for Investment Management and Research.
