Ellie Mae Adds Former Visa VP As Chief Security Officer

Selim Aissi, the former vice president of global information security at Visa, has now joined the team at Ellie Mae as chief security officer. According to the company, he will now be responsible for Ellie Mae's overall security program, including all security operations, engineering, governance, risk and compliance-related matters.

During his four-year tenure at Visa, Aissi led several company-wide initiatives, including sustaining the security of Visa Checkout, Apple Pay and Visa's Data Protection Program.

Prior to joining Visa, Aissi spent over a decade at Intel in a number of senior management and technology roles.

‘Information security is at the forefront for our customers. My role with Ellie Mae is an opportunity to enhance our security measures while working with our customers to meet their objectives for security, compliance and efficiency,’ Aissi says.

Jonathan Corr, president and CEO of Ellie Mae, says that Aissi's expertise will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining the company's data security and information protection strategy going forward.
