Travis Cline and Jonathan Hill have joined Equity National Title, both in the role of vice president, national sales executive.
Cline has extensive experience on the mortgage lending side of the industry, as well as in settlement services. He began his career as a manager with Beneficial Finance before becoming president with Apex Mortgage in 2003. He also served with national mortgage insurance provider MGIC before becoming vice president of national sales for Vantage Point Title.
Hill has about 15 years of settlement services experience, having spent the past five years at First Title and Escrow. He previously worked for Title One, a Michigan-based settlement services firm.
In their new roles, Cline and Hill will focus on further growing Equity's market share and geographic footprint. They will also serve as resources to existing clients.
In a release, James K. O'Donnell, president of Equity, says the company's recent rollout of several new services has resulted in a significant increase in new business and new business inquiries, necessitating the additions.
‘We've introduced a few new services designed to aid lenders with certain compliance issues and to help them close more loans in the past two years, which has brought about a surge in market interest,’ O'Donnell says.
