After two decades serving our audience of mortgage professionals, MortgageOrb is retiring the brand and sunsetting its operations.
Launched in 2007, MortgageOrb was one of the first news websites dedicated to the U.S. mortgage market, filling a much-needed space in the B2B media segment.
For many years, MortgageOrb was also home to the digital versions of our print publications focused on the mortgage industry – Secondary Marketing Executive and Servicing Management magazines, which shuttered in 2017, as well as Commercial Mortgage Insight, which shuttered in 2012. When including the print magazines, Zackin Publications has covered the mortgage market for nearly 50 years.
Since its launch, MortgageOrb has covered the major cycles of the mortgage and housing industries – from the boom years of the mid-2000s, to the housing bust in 2008-2009, to the recovery in 2010s, to the impact of the pandemic in 2020-2022, to the market slowdown of 2023-2025 – we’ve been there for it all.
MortgageOrb wants to thank our dedicated audience and advertisers for being with us on this amazing journey. We have all come a long way and wish our friends the best of luck in the coming decades.
