Street Capital, a Chicago-based provider of asset management and advisory services, has launched its Bank Asset Network, an online database for buyers looking to purchase U.S. bank assets. The Bank Asset Network focuses specifically on U.S. real estate assets by allowing interested buyers access to an online portal for submission of a detailed profile with their investment criteria. The submission process filters participants based upon categories such as performance level, desired markets, type of real estate asset, tenant, loan balances, pool sizes, lien positions, loan types, property types, existing interest rate and length/terms. "Banks want to sell assets, and buyers want to buy – but the problem is price," says Jon Winick, president of Clark Street Capital. "The Bank Asset Network will help bridge the bid/ask spread and offer the broadest spectrum of customized buyers available." SOURCE: Clark Street
