Full-service mortgage lender First California Mortgage (First Cal) has selected Roostify, a provider of automated mortgage transaction technology, to simplify its mortgage application process.
According to Roostify, the company's platform enables customers to upload key documents directly to Roostify, rather than by emailing or faxing; includes an ‘Apply Now’ button on its website to increase Web traffic; and collects e-signatures instantly within the platform.
Roostify also has a new timeline feature that acts as a social network within the lender's application. Each party involved in the loan can utilize the timeline to request status updates, post updates and share information, all in real time.
‘Our applications come in more complete, and customers begin uploading documents right away because they are provided with a complete list of required documents before it's even received by the loan officer. In the end, using Roostify equates to a lower cost of origination and a better experience for the customer,’ says Howard Sackson, chief operating officer and chief information officer of First Cal.
