Chuck Bloodgood has been promoted to chief information officer at FirstClose, a provider of title, flood and valuation services to the mortgage industry.
Bloodgood, who previously served as senior vice president of technology, has been working for FirstClose for more than four years. During that time, he has built a strong team of innovative IT professionals who are delivering new software systems to help rapidly grow the company into a nationally recognized provider of mortgage settlement services.
He began his career at IBM, quickly rising to senior consultant and helping to automate the manufacturing operations of large industrial clients. He subsequently served as vice president of technology for an industrial equipment supplier, a startup and the first fully automated job connecting system.
In his new role, Bloodgood oversees the people, processes and technology within FirstClose’s IT department to ensure they deliver outcomes that support the goals and objectives of the company.
He plays a key leadership role in the strategic, technical and management initiatives that mitigate threats and drive business growth, the company says in a release.
