Goldman Sachs In Record-Breaking Indian Commercial Property Deal Goldman Sachs has made history in India by signing the nation's largest commercial property deal.

The Times of India reports that the U.S. financial services giant has signed a lease for a 1.6 million square-foot property in Bangalore. The property will serve as the central location for Goldman Sachs' back-office operations, which is currently spread across six different offices in Bangalore. Goldman Sachs has hired the New York-based architect firm Pei Cobb Freed & Partners to design the three-building office complex for the property.

‘This new lease is to consolidate our presence and to accommodate future growth in the country,’ says a Goldman Sachs spokesperson.
