Bay Equity Home Loans, a full-service retail mortgage lender based in Sausalito, Calif., recently hired a loan officer with serious “drive.”
Former golf pro Patricia “Pat” Hurst, a six-time winner on the LPGA tour and 1995 LPGA Rookie of the Year, has launched a new career as a loan officer and will be working in the mortgage lender’s Danville, Calif., location.
“Rest assured I will bring a ton of energy, passion and integrity to my new profession,” says Hurst, who played golf professionally for 26 years, in a release. “I believe the transition will be as smooth as my putting stroke.”
Hurst will not be retiring from golf entirely. In August, she’ll return as an assistant captain for the U.S. team as it defends the Solheim Cup. The biennial event pits a team of the best women’s pros in the U.S. against the best in Europe.
