Guild Mortgage continues to expand in the Midwest with the addition of two offices in Wisconsin.

The company reports that it has opened a branch in Madison and a satellite office Baraboo.

These are its first locations in the state.

Guild’s Madison branch is led by managers Dave Grauwels and Ryan Smith, who have been serving the local community for almost 40 years.

The Madison team also includes loan officer Joseph Long.

Sales manager Josey Cabaj will work out of a new office in Baraboo.

All three were previously with Waterstone Mortgage Corp.

Headquartered in San Diego, Guild Mortgage has nearly 4,000 employees with 205 retail branches in 33 states.

The company recently expanded its presence in the Midwest when it acquired the assets of Cornerstone Mortgage, based in St. Louis, in early 2018.

The move added 17 offices in Missouri, Illinois and Kansas.

Additionally, Guild opened three branches in North Dakota in late 2017.

Guild says loan volume reached $16.52 billion for 2018.

Since 2010 (when loan volume was $4.08 billion), Guild has grown four-fold, expanding from its base in the West to the Southwest, Southeast, South and Midwest.

Earlier this month, the mortgage lender launched Guild-to-Go, a mobile application designed to offer real estate agents more transparency and efficiency throughout the loan process and empower them to better serve homebuyers.

The app lets Guild Mortgage’s real estate partners connect directly with their preferred Guild loan officer from any mobile device – or select a loan officer by location through the app’s built-in map feature.

Once registered, agents can refer their clients to Guild to start the loan application and pre-approval process with a few simple clicks.
