Geri Brewster has joined online, real-estate investment management firm HomeUnion as chief compliance and risk officer.
Brewster has more than 30 years of leadership experience in government, legal, corporate and private equity environments. Most recently, she was chief operating officer at Fleetgistics, a private equity funded company in the transportation logistics space. Prior to Fleetgistics, she spent the bulk of her career in various C-level positions with Toyota Financial Services, including general counsel and group vice president of Toyota Financial Savings Bank. Before joining Toyota, she spent several years as a real estate finance attorney in private practice.
In her new job, Brewster oversees legal, risk and compliance functions for HomeUnion. In addition, she is responsible for human resources, business development and HomeUnion Lending Inc., the new mortgage brokerage subsidiary of HomeUnion.
