HOPE NOW has compiled a list of all the toll-free service numbers for the alliance members to help homeowners get in touch with their servicers.
‘It is extremely important for borrowers to contact their servicers, either directly or through a housing counselor, as soon as they believe they will have trouble paying their mortgages,’ says Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., who applauds this latest action. ‘The sooner contact is made, the better the chance of saving your home.’

In addition, Faith Schwartz, executive director of HOPE NOW, recently testified before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Commercial and Administrative Law that the HOPE NOW Alliance is working hard to achieve its goals to help homeowners stay in their homes.
HOPE NOW adds that it asked Congress to continue alerting their constituents that help is available for homeowners when they contact either their servicer or the Homeowner's HOPE Hotline, 888-995-HOPE.
