Barry Polen has joined Hunt Mortgage Group, a commercial real estate (CRE) lender, as managing director for capital markets in the firm's New York office.
In this position, which reports to Jon Trauben, Hunt Mortgage's senior managing director, Polen will work to expand the company's capital markets activities and commercial lending business nationwide.
Polen has nearly three decades of industry and management experience. He most recently served as managing director for Guggenheim Securities, where he was the head of the CRE debt trading desk and worked with Guggenheim's CRE finance group on their securitization activities.
Prior to Guggenheim, he held roles at Credit Suisse; Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette; Morgan Stanley; and Ernst & Whinney.
