Integrated Mortgage Solutions (IMS), a collateral protection resource for the mortgage servicing industry, has added Web services capabilities to IMS Adapt, its Web-based set of tools that delivers a centralized system for initiating work orders, updating status, reporting status and activity, and managing quality control and billings.
IMS' Web services feature is a direct, secure connection to IMS' system that is designed for servicers to order inspections, preservation and loss mitigation work orders in real time, thus automating the data and eliminating the need for a separate database. This function enables servicers' information technology departments to submit orders for bulk inspection preservation and loss mitigation work orders via their systems and use the Web services to send the order directly into IMS' system, the company explains.
Servicers may also display request results in the system, and may choose to integrate the Web service with their existing software.
