Highly sought-after industry consultant Rene Rodriguez has joined Alterra Home Loans as chief learning officer.
Rodriguez has more than 20 years of experience helping organizations apply the latest neuroscience research to grow leadership capacity, while increasing sales. He has built a solid reputation as a dynamic keynote speaker, and his clients always bring him back because of the massive results he has been able to generate.
Rodriguez has deep experience with mortgage technology, having formerly founded and served as CEO of BetterLoanOfficer.com. Prior to that, he was CEO of the first cloud-based loan origination software company for the mortgage industry.
As chief learning officer, Rodriguez will roll out his proven proprietary sales system, the PULSE, which was designed to help each individual loan officer increase his or her average monthly production.
In a release, the company says this additional position on the senior management team “is another step towards Alterra’s relentless pursuit of achieving its mission to help underserved consumers build wealth through homeownership and close the wealth gap for minority consumers.”
In his new position, Rodriguez will take responsibility for growing the company’s sales leadership, as well as implementing a high-performance sales culture, to help front-line managers and loan officers grow their businesses.
“When we saw what Rene did for our company in just one day, we knew we had to bring him on board,” says Jason Madiedo, president and CEO of Alterra. “Now, all of our managers and loan officers can tap into Rene’s methodologies full time to make them more competitive. It wasn’t easy persuading a lifelong entrepreneur to commit, but I am patient, and our entrepreneurial culture and committed mission helped seal the deal.”
“This past year was my most successful as a speaker and consultant, but the opportunity to be part of what Alterra is building was the chance of a lifetime,” Rodriguez adds. “I fell in love with the leadership, the people and the mission of Alterra to serve the underserved markets. I feel that my work over the past 20 years has been leading me to this all along, and I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the Alterra family.”
