Mortgage industry veterans Kevin Breeland and Stan Gordon are partnering in DC Solutions Group LLC, a new Washington, D.C.-based venture designed to represent industry interests in legislative and regulatory venues.
‘We believe that the mortgage and real estate industry is well represented by its respective trade organizations,’ says Breeland. ‘However, we're fighting a huge battle against a sea of new laws and regulations, much of it knee-jerk in nature. It's going to take a lot more engagement and constituent follow up on the part of our industry to educate policymakers in Washington on the actual effects of their actions. DC Solutions Group will seek to channel that energy for positive results.’
Breeland is past chairman of REPRO and Gordon was previously general counsel for the Coldwell Banker Residential Group.
